“Manifesto” is the voice of Iúri Oliveira in his most intimate habitat. The dialogues between skins, waters, landscapes and silences expressed in this album reveal the authenticity and mastery of the Luso-Angolan percussionist. A unique and surprising work now published in Vinyl and digital format.
The visible and invisible musician who multiplies between productions, studios, artists, tours, soundtracks and national and international performances, now brings to the public this vibrant solo work, which crosses the most ceremonial rhythms and bold textures to immersive soundscapes and the use of the word.
Recorded at the Musibéria studios in Serpa, “Manifesto” was designed to be played live, in an immersive show in 360° format, inviting the public to a place of ritual and celebration.
In the year in which he celebrates 10 years of his professional career as a musician, Iúri Oliveira now presents us with a bold turning point.
